In the course of 2019, Holysoul get in studio to record their first album. Once again, things had to happen. Out of the 8 recorded tracks, takes shape a story of its own, or to call it by a more scholar name, a concept-album. It tells the path of a young « estate girl », driven by a deep anger which inevitably leads her to her downfall. A fictional character suiting to Manou’s (Holysoul’s singer) own wrath regarding violence and injustice.

« Backyard Diaries » is sort of a modern tale, melting revolt, hope, aspirations, rage and love. An album recorded, mixed and illustrated in Reunion Island (French overseas territory), mastered in London, and expected, hopefully, elsewhere around the world. Maybe you just have to let things happen…
